In celebration of the Grandin Theatre Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Black History Month Film Festival, and in conjunction with the Harrison Museum of African American Culture, we present A MONTH OF MICHEAUX. For the month we’ll be celebrating Oscar Micheaux - the first Black pioneer filmmaker, his contributions to the world of filmmaking, and his deep ties to Roanoke.
