Jeremy Alder - Homeschooled in the heart of Texas by fundamentalist missionary parents with a penchant for conspiracy theories, Jeremy’s childhood was anything but conventional. Steeped in a world of alternative facts and fervent beliefs, he learned early on to find the humor in life’s absurdities. Now married with children of his own, Jeremy delves in the trials and tribulations of growing up in this unique situation – all done with a healthy dose of skepticism, dry wit, and occasional silliness.
He has headlined clubs and colleges around the country and performed at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, the Big Sky Comedy Fest, and The Best of Cleveland Comedy. His recent Dry Bar comedy set, “Purity Pants” is a fan favorite on the YouTube channel.

Since their rebrand in 2021, the band has built a fiercely loyal following across the US and UK, earning critical acclaim and major festival slots for their electrifying, emotionally charged performances. Rolling Stone calls Krisko “one of the best-kept vocal secrets of the Southeast,” and in 2024, the band took a bold creative leap with their self-produced EP Blueprints, a soulful, anthemic collection that landed playlist placements, radio support, and praise for its raw vulnerability.
With past support slots for legends like Mavis Staples, Marcus King, Blackberry Smoke, Samantha Fish, Robert Randolph, and Margo Price, the band continues to rise. Krisko recently stepped into a new role as host of the storied Buffalo Mountain Jam at FloydFest, solidifying her as a staple of the modern roots rock scene.
Erin Lunsford is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Fincastle, VA, now based in Richmond. Best known as the powerhouse frontwoman of indie-pop/soul band Erin & The Wildfire, Lunsford blends Appalachian roots with soulful, genre-defying vocals that have drawn praise from NPR and Rolling Stone Country.

PALMYRA
Wed 12/3
6:00 pm - Doors | 7:00 pm - Showtime
Location: Main Theatre
General Admission: $24 + tax Advance, $27 + tax Day of Show
Established in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, Palmyra captures the collective spirit of three Virginia natives: Teddy Chipouras, Mānoa Bell, and Sasha Landon. Palmyra straddles at least two musical worlds. They are, on one hand, a band from the South that plays traditional instruments and indeed once lived in the old-time locus of Floyd, Virginia. Comparisons to and a kinship with The Avett Brothers and even Old Crow Medicine Show are inevitable. On the other hand, Palmyra writes about grief, gender dysphoria and identity, and coming of age in songs that flirt with soul, post-rock, and even emo; the South, too, is the place of My Morning Jacket, Band of Horses, Cat Power, and now, Palmyra.
The band’s first full length LP, Restless, is out now on Oh Boy Records. Framed by moments of struggle, solidarity, and hard-won growth, Restless is an unqualified ringer for anyone who loves the space where the roar of indie rock collides with raw folk.

The Wellness Wagon of Virginia Presents:
In 1973, Dr. Mutulu Shakur, along with fellow Black Panthers and the Young Lords, combined community health with radical politics to create the first acupuncture detoxification program in America. This form of radical harm reduction was a revolutionary act toward the government programs that transfixed the lives of black and brown communities throughout the South Bronx. Dope is Death utilizes an abundant archive while giving us insight into how the acupuncture clinic rose to prominence and, despite funding challenges, still functions to this day. Some of those who benefited from the program became acupuncturists themselves. Dr. Mutulu's legacy is cemented within this profound story of community healing and activism.
