The Book Keepers

Inspired by Carilion’s desire to transform cancer care in the region, the Carilion Clinic Foundation will host The Grandin Theatre premiere of “The Book Keepers,” which tells one man’s inspiring story of fulfilling his wife’s dream after she lost her battle to cancer. This event is free to attend.

Kathryn L Beranich launched her career as a Producer/Director in 1977 in Roanoke, VA. After working at various network affiliates in the Southeast, she moved to Los Angeles for a job at E! Entertainment Television where she was Supervising Producer for the E! True Hollywood Story and the Anna Nicole Show, among others. Throughout her television career, Kathryn produced lesbian documentaries on the side. Her first films, After the 2nd Date (1996) and the Lesbian Centennial Project (2004) played at LGBT Film Festivals all over the US and Europe.
