In the 1980's a disparate group of lesbians in Southwestern Virginia opened the closet door and created a vibrant community. THE UNLIKELY STORY OF THE LESBIANS OF FIRST FRIDAY is a slice of lesbian history told through the voices and anecdotes of these women and others who joined the fun.
