It is rare to see a historic, nostalgic, art house cinema in our communities today.  The marquee ablaze, throwbacks to a Golden Age.  Only 1 out 7 historic original American cinema houses have survived. It is even more rare to be a part of transforming one into a dynamic, national model for independent theaters.  Come join us on Saturday, October 22nd to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the historic Grandin Theatre, Roanoke's oldest arts and cultural organization!  The last few years have been a challenge for all of us, so this evening is a celebration of our amazing journey through a global pandemic, necessary capital upgrades, rich programming, and the transformation of our Main Theatre into a diverse multi-use facility for the whole community!  It's time to celebrate - and we want you here with us!!
