The 1st Annual Grandin Theatre Film Lab Film Festival features four short films. Each of the films being presented was written, filmed and edited by the students.  The films represent varying genres including drama, comedy, horror, and a 1940’s period piece.  They are the final culmination of their curriculum based learning and their group work.  The sixteen students in the program represent five public high schools, two private schools, and the homeschool community.

In addition, the Festival will welcome honorary guest host, Paolo deGuzman from DREAMWORKS.  From Salem, VA, deGuzman’s list of credentials is long and illustrious including work on Titanic, Shrek, Fight Club, How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, and many more.  Paolo will be returning home to celebrate the first year of a Film Lab in his home region.

This is a fundraiser for the Grandin Theatre Film Lab.
