Catering and Alcohol Control
Though the Grandin Theatre does not have an onsite kitchen, we are able to host caterers who arrive with prepared food for your event. Catering stations for food and beverage can go in our main lobby areas, or can be placed specifically in one of our four (4) theatres for rent. Your options will be dependent on the caterer you choose, but we'll handle the setup!
Currently, the Grandin Theatre does not have an on-premise ABC license. If you are hosting an event at the Grandin Theatre where alcohol will be served you may need a banquet, banquet special event, or mixed beverage special event ABC license. For complete information on alcohol licensing requirements you may visit the ABC web page at www.abc.state.va.us. If you have questions the staff of the Grandin Theatre can walk you through your options. If you do pull a license for your event, copies of the license and arrangements must be submitted for approval by Grandin Theatre's Director of Operations prior to your event.
