A workshop led by Professor Matt Marshall of Hollins University and Dr. Chris Proctor-Headmaster of North Cross High School.  An Introduction to visual literacy. What makes a great film great?

Matt Marshall is a Film Lecturer, screenwriter and film composer. He has taught courses on film criticism and history at the University of Virginia and is currently a visiting assistant professor of film at Hollins University. Marshall has been composing and performing live music accompaniment to classic silent films for over 14 years and has recorded soundtracks for the British Edition of Charlie Chaplin's The Kid as well as George Melies' Conquest of the Pole.
